Umicore Electro-Optic Materials is the world’s largest manufacturer of germanium products for thermal imaging and smart sensing. We play a leading role in the supply of germanium wafers for a variety of applications. We can also manufacture finished lenses both in Ge and GASIR® with the help of two DPT machines and a coating chamber. We also have the ability to assemble products and test them with our MTF bench.

Umicore Coating Services is the market leader in the thin film coatings industry. We manufacture coatings for infrared, laser and visible optics. We have also developed and can produce our iDLC coating on GASIR® which has the comparable durability than DLC on Ge.
